This time last year I was preparing (mentally and physically) to have surgery on my eye.
I thank the Lord each day for bringing me through that whole chapter of my life. (It was only a chapter because the story is just getting to the good part 😊)
Last year, there were so many unknowns and so many questions. I can’t even put into words everything that was running through my mind at the time. At that point, I really hadn’t told anyone, besides my family what was going on because I didn’t know what to even tell them. Thinking back on it now, still brings tears to my eyes.
People ask me all the time; How do you have the energy to do everything you do? Why are you so involved in the community? Why are certain things so important to you? And I respond the same way every time – “When you have an eye-opening experience, you learn to be very thankful and realize that life is short so I plan to enjoy every minute.”
Stay Tuned – I promise the story is only going to get better.

I met you through your community involvement, and I see a renewal in your energy and commitment. Your challenges seem to bring out the best in you and your family, friends, and community benefit. Thanks Kim!
Thank you Beverly!!!
Keep allowing God to use you! You are such a role model to so many.
I plan too. Thank you.
